Position Description
POSITION TITLE: Lunch Room Aide
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 21 years of age
- High School Diploma
REPORTS TO: Lead Lunch Aide
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Minimum Wage; 166 school days; 10:00am to 1:30pm
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Interact with staff, students, faculty, visitors, and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Assist and supervise students in the lunchroom during lunch.
- Perform cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to all school district and building rules and regulations.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and seminars as scheduled.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
MENTAL FUNCTIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and use interpersonal skills. The employee is frequently required to compare, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, evaluate and compile. The employee is occasionally required to copy, instruct, compute and negotiate. |
